The Smitten mitten
Smittens are a microfibre mitten that completely deep cleans your skin in seconds using nothing but warm water! How do I use a Smitten?
To use your Smitten, remove it from it's packaging, wet it with luke-warm water, squeeze off the excess water, insert your hand into the Smitten and wipe it across your skin gently. You can use circular movements if you like. Do not over rub - let
the fibres do the work to lift off dirt, make-up etc.
How do I remove eye makeup?
To remove eye makeup, wet your Smitten with use luke-warm water, squeeze off the
excess water, hold the wet mitten over your eye area for about 5 seconds to soften the makeup, and the gently wipe from the inside to the outside of the eye area to remove your makeup using the tips if your fingers inside the Smitten.
How do I wash my Smitten?
There are two ways to clean your Smitten – by hand or in the
washing machine.
Hand wash gently after each use suing a neutral bar soap
(like the glycerine ones we sell). You can use your face wash/cleanser, but
that’s just a waste of a good product.
You can pop your Smitten in a washing machine, and wash it
that way.
In both cases, make sure to hand them up to dry – in the sun
is best as it’s nice and quick and also kills bacteria. But otherwise in a well
ventilated space, e.g., on a hook outside your shower or near a window.

and ready to use, one in the wash and one on the washline – and rotate your
Smittens like that.
Is a Smitten safe for all skin types?
Absolutely. Anyone can use a Smitten. You never need to rub hard with a Smitten – It’s actually best not to. But you can also control how you use it. It’s suitable for babies, to clean their delicate skins, to senistive skin, to skin that’s been treated
by aestheticians, to regular skin. The rick is to keep it clean, let it dry between uses, and replace it when it gets a bit old.
